Join the 2021 Georgia Cycling Yearbook Team

Student-Athletes and Coaches are invited to be a part of the team that will assemble the first-ever Georgia Cycling Yearbook

The official Yearbook of the Georgia Cycling Association is a statewide program that spotlights each team in the Georgia Cycling Association and showcases their achievements throughout the season. The yearbook brings teams across the state together to share success stories of overcoming challenges. It will celebrate the season and reflects each team’s unique experience.

When a student-athlete joins the Yearbook team, they will represent their team and can fill one of a variety of different roles. Students can choose how much time they want to spend on the yearbook based on their role.

  • Content Collector: Gather photos and information for their team that can be used in the yearbook. Minimum 1 hour per week

  • Content Creator: Takes their team photos and information and creates yearbook pages. Minimum 2 hours per week

  • Regional Coordinator: Works with the teams in their region to ensure they get the content that works best for their yearbook section. Minimum 3 hours per week

  • Regional Advisor/Editor: Works with the Regional Coordinators to make sure everything stays on track and looks cohesive. Minimum 3 hours per week

  • Social Media / Marketing / Sales: Create social media posts for the yearbook, make sure information is being shared and posted on social media, and that everyone knows that the yearbook is available to buy. Minimum 2 hours per week

All of these positions will be overseen by the Editor-in-Chief and students will receive valuable project experience that will carry over into future activities that they want to pursue. A weekly Zoom meeting will be held on Mondays to keep the team on track and on time. Students that are on the 2021 Yearbook Team must be registered and compliant for the 2021 season.

Ideally, students wishing to join should possess these skills, or be willing to develop these skills in an open and collaborative environment.

  • Polite, professional, and reliable when participating in all yearbook activities.

  • Collect and coordinate photos with team members and their families.
