Dawson County Composite Launches Their Own Coffee Blend
This is so cool. The Dawson County Composite Mountain Bike Team has teamed up with Dawsonville-based Because Coffee to introduce their own blend of coffee. Night Rider Blend was created to support the student-athletes of Dawson County MTB. The dark roast full-body coffee is reminiscent of dark chocolate covered raisins.
Dawson County Composite Team Director, Dustin Heard, says, “The most common word you hear amongst everyone involved with our team is family. And that’s what this sport and this team creates for the riders, coaches, and parents. No matter your skill level and abilities, everyone participates and is an active part of our team. And seeing the transformation in their self-development on and off the bike is a rewarding experience. We’re excited to grow our family and partner with Doug and the team at Because Coffee to launch the Night Rider Blend.”
Doug Cole, owner at Because Coffee, added, “I love having the opportunity to partner with the Dawson County Composite Mountain Bike Team. I’ve seen how the volunteers that run that team really enjoy investing in the young people on the team. We’ve had the chance to meet several team members and they are great kids. Our community is better because of groups like Dawson County Composite!”
The 12-ounce bags are available ground or whole bean. Bags are $16 and can be purchased on the Because Coffee website. If you live in the Dawsonville area, you can pick up a bag (or three) in person at Northstar Bicycle Shop. Their address is 471 Quill Drive, Dawsonville, GA 30534
This is a fundraiser coffee which means 100% of the profits will go directly to Dawson County Composite Mountain Bike Team to cover needs like equipment, supplies, & in some cases, financial assistance for riders.
